Overview

Eastern Virginia Medical School (EVMS) is seeking a Pulmonologist or Pulmonologist-Intensivist as an Assistant or Associate Professor for its Division of Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine. The candidate will participate in the clinical and educational activities of the Internal Medicine Department. The physician must be proficient in bronchoscopy, intubation, thoracentesis, ventilation management and central line placement. The position is primarily clinical and outpatient-based in Norfolk, Virginia. EVMS is known for excellence in clinical medicine and passionate teaching.

 

The successful candidate will have completed a residency in Internal Medicine, with a fellowship in Pulmonary/Critical Care, be board-certified or board-eligible in Pulmonary Medicine, with a passion for academic medicine. Virginia Medical license and DEA are required.
